A middle-aged woman who had approached DMK Minister KKSSR Ramachandran seeking old age pension for her mother was hit on the head by the Minister with the petition paper she had given him.
The DMK Minister was participating in a government function in Palavanatham village of Virudhunagar district.
A woman named Kalavathi, a resident of the village came with a petition to the DMK Minister requesting oldage pension for her 70-year-old mother.
In a video that has now gone viral, the DMK Minister can be seen hitting the woman with the same pettition paper that was given by her as she was lamenting her griefs and hardships.
Reacting to this, BJP Tamil Nadu President K. Annamalai lashed out at the DMK Minister asking if Tamil Nadu people were his slaves to be treated in such a manner.
மக்கள் என்ன உங்கள் அடிமைகளா?

He also demanded the resignation of the DMK Minister in 48 hours and added that BJP cadres would lay siege to his house if he doesn’t resign.
