“All Disbelievers Of Islam Are The Same”: The Wire, The Quint, Al Jazeera Columnist spews venom, deletes tweet later

Meer Faisal, a columnist who has published articles with rabid Islamist portals like The Wire, The Quint and Al Jazeera attacked non-Muslims stating that ‘all enemies of the Islam are the same’.

In a now deleted tweet he wrote “Laanat on all opposition parties and leaders of UP. Al Kufr Millatun Wahida” along with the hashtag #StandWithAfreenFatima.

Al Kufr Millatun Wahida literally translates to “Disbelievers/enemies of Islam are one”.

This tweet came from The Wire columnist in light of the Yogi Government’s crackdown on rioters who have been on a rampage since Friday (June 10, 2022) alleging ‘insult’ of their ‘Prophet’ by the now-expelled former BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

Meer Faisal, who works with Maktoob Media was earlier booked by the Delhi Police for peddling fake news and inciting hatred between two communities. On 3 April 2022, Meer Faisal had claimed that he and four other Muslim journalists were ‘assaulted’ at the event by a Hindu mob at The Hindu Mahapanchayat event organized by the Save India Foundation. However, the Delhi Police denied any such incident happened.

“Some of the reporters, willingly, on their own free will, to evade the crowd which was getting agitated by their presence, sat in PCR Van stationed at the venue and opted to proceed to Police Station for security reasons. No one was detained. Due police protection was provided.”, the Delhi Police had said back then.
