Yamraj has arrived on the streets of the Udhampur on Friday to spread awareness about COVID-19. A local artist dressed up as Yamraj and went on the streets of Udhampur market to make people aware of the consequences of COVID-19.
He approached the people to follow social distancing, wear masks and avoid coming out of the house unnecessarily and warned that ‘He would take people with him’ if they don’t follow these rules.
Deepak Kumar, the man behind the Yamaraj make-up said to bystanders in the market “To understand and follow social distancing is your most important duty. You should compulsorily wear masks”.
He also added further “Our PM Narendra Modi has been repeating himself for your safety only. You have to understand to take care of yourself. I am Yamraj and now even I am tired. So, I thought I should come here and make people aware of staying at home and not to gather in the market unnecessarily”.
He said that he thought of this idea seeing at the situations around him and thinks that it’s his moral responsibility to take a small initiative from his side.
