Weapons used by Pakistani military seized at Adani Group owned Mundra Port

Munitions reportedly belonging to the Pakistani army was seized, from Adani Group owned Mundra Port in the Kutch district of Gujarat by security agencies, on Friday (January 29).

This latest seizure comes just months after the Customs and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) found nearly 3,000 kilograms of heroin and in November 2021 security agencies stopped a ship carrying radioactive substances from Pakistan to China.

As per reports, the Customs Department at the port received an alert that about 200 tonnes of junk imported from Africa is likely to have some suspicious material and Sai Bandhan Infinium Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, imported the material.

The seizure happened after an investigation was carried out by the customs and the central agencies over the last few days and the containers that were checked had weapons that are used by the Pakistani Army.
