‘Take it if hungry’ food distribution model finds many takers, NGOs launch stalls in Madurai

The Vande Mataram Dance School along with ‘My People’s Social Welfare Foundation’ has opened ‘Take it if hungry’ food stalls for the needy and homeless in Madurai.

The food stall was opened at Thirunagar 5th Bus Stand in the presence of Indu Makkal Katchi (IMK) Spirituality Wing head Guna and Madurai Corporation Health Inspector Subburaj.

Kabasura Kudineer (herbal drink), masks, food packets and water bottles were also given to the people. An awareness campaign on COVID appropriate behaviour was also undertaken.

All India Hanuman Sena Chief Secretary General A.P. Ramalingam, Indu Makkal Katchi spiritual wing secretary Kumar, Thiruparankundram Rocket Raja and many others were present.
