Mr. Satish, grandson of the late ‘Periyar’ E.V. Ramasamy who founded the Dravida Kazhagam, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kumbakonam, in the presence of Kumbakonam BJP leader Kalkandu Rengarajan, Tanjore North District Vice President Kumba Venkatachari and other BJP members of Kumbakonam.
The Kumbakonam BJP facebook page had published photos of him joining the party.
It had said that the Mr. Satish shed the Dravidian ideology and joined the BJP on Tuesday.
