Kumaravel, the MNM’s general secretary — propaganda, issued a press release calling Vanathi Srinivasan a ‘tukkada’ (worthless / small time in Tamil) leader.

“We accept your challenge but first our leader Kamal Haasan would like to debate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After that he would like to debate with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. After that he would like to debate with other Ministers. Lastly, he will debate with ‘tukkada’ leaders like Vanathi Srinivasan”, the MNM press release read adding that MNM’s student’s wing is enough for debating with the BJP leader.
