In an interview with the Youtube channel Arakalagam, Dravidian fanatic leader Pasumpon, the founder and president of the Anna Dravida Makkal Munnetra Kazhagham, stated that he will unleash violence on the Dinamalar office for publishing an article speculating on the central government’s intention to form Kongu state.
He added that allowing Dinamalar to run in Tamil Nadu was a mistake and that Dinamalar does not have freedom of expression in this matter. He criticized Dinamalar for not using Annadurai and EV Ramasamy’s titles, Anna and Periyar respectively, in their newspapers.
He further said that they will burn the Dinamalar newspaper across Tamil Nadu and refuse to allow them to print it, and that if the newspaper continues to publish news like this, violence will be unleashed inside the Dinamalar office.
he said,” If this constitution allows people to ask for a separate Kongu Nadu state, then I will ask for a separate Tamil country. Tamil Nadu has the right to separate from Indian Union and I will demand a separate Tamil Nadu”
He further claimed that only the BJP and Brahmins demanded a separate Kongu Nadu state, and that anyone who demanded a new state should be whacked on their throat.
He further stated that ‘Kongu’ is a vulgar term that denotes a woman’s breast and he questioned Dinamalar whether they would seek another state named after any other private parts.
