Two Muslim youths have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a Hindu man who took a Muslim woman in his two-wheeler.
A man and a woman working in a bank in Bangalore, were returning home on Friday (September 17). Two men stopped their bike near Dairy circle and started questioning the woman, who was wearing a burqa. They forced the woman to share her family members’ numbers and called them to abuse them.
They then forced the woman to get off and take an auto rickshaw home. The man who was to drop the woman home was then thrashed by the two miscreants.
The incident came to light after a video went viral on social media.
A case has been registered at the SG Palya police station and the two have been arrested.
