Cop donates oxygen concentrators to public health centre in Pamban from his own savings

Murali Selvam, the Chief Constable of the Pamban Police Station and his brother Vigneswaran donated an oxygen concentrator worth ₹1,50,000 for the use of the Pamban Government Primary Health Center near Rameswaram. It is to be noted that they have donated this from their own savings.

On Monday, Murali Selvam and his brother Vigneswaran handed over a 20-litre oxygen concentrator and 400 face masks. Karthik, the District Superintendent of Police of the Ramanathapuram district praised this act by the chief constable.

This is not the first initiative that the duo has taken in terms of helping reduce the spread of COVID-19 in their district. The Ramanathapuram District Police  has also been creating awareness among the general public about the the disease and has been continuously providing food items to the poor and destitute.
