“God doesn’t see the sexual abuse made by clergymen”: Vatican

Despite several reports of sexual offenses in churches for several years now, the Vatican has shocked everyone by saying that their God does not know about the sexual crimes that are currently taking place in churches.

In the last 60 years alone, 4392 Catholic priests have been involved in sexual crimes. But, the Vatican’s answer that God does not know about these sexual crimes has come as a jolt to both abuse survivors. A complaint letter dating back to 2005 talks about priests who sexually abused children and calls them as ‘Pedophilic Priests’.

It is alleged in the letter that the Catholic authorities knew about all the abuse. The Vatican is currently responding to this 2005 complaint.

The response from the Vatican spokesman, Fr. Petrico, has come as a shock who said that he had just come to know about the letter. He said that God, that is, “Jesus Christ,” did not know about these sexual crimes committed in the Catholic Church.

His answer to the question of how God does not know about priests committing sexual crimes has enraged everyone. He replied to it, saying that the situation in heaven was currently bad and that God was involved in the process of repairing it, and so, God did not know about these sexual accusations. He also said that Pope Francis had “asked God to act as quickly as possible in this matter”.

In Christianity, women and children are subjected to various forms of sexual misconduct in the name of God. The powerful church administration has been accused of intimidating those voices of the survivors. Several organizations and collectives like the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests have been working in the area providing a platform for survivors to come together and seek justice.
