DMK MLA flees from spot after COVID patient’s relatives express grievances about bed and oxygen unavailablity

Ramalingam, the DMK MLA from Namakkal, absconded from the spot after relatives of a COVID patient tried to express their grievance about the unavailability of beds and oxygen.

The DMK MLA along with his supporters made a surprise visit to the Government Hospital at Namakkal to inspect about the measures being taken to help fight the Wuhan Virus.

He met with hospital officials and inspected the corona ward from outside. As he was about to leave, relatives of a patient had followed him and pleaded him to listen to the difficulties they have been facing.

They mentioned that they are finding it difficult to find oxygen and other drugs required for treatment. To this, his supporters asked them to come later and hurriedly went away as the MLA fled.

Disappointed by the apathy of the DMK MLA, the man can be heard saying “Thank you Ayya (sir). You will stay blessed sir. We put vote believing in you. Many many thanks for this!”
