Goddess Idol Vandalized And Broken, Hundi Money Stolen At Virdhunagar’s Nallathangal Temple

Goddess Idol Vandalized And Broken, Hundi Money Stolen At Virdhunagar's Nallathangal Temple

The recent incident at the Nallathangal Temple near Vathirairuppu, in Virudhunagar District where the goddess idol was vandalized and the temple’s hundi money was stolen, has caused a major uproar among devotees and the local community.

The Nallathangal Temple, a renowned 15th-century shrine located in Archanapuram near Vathirairuppu in Virudhunagar district, underwent a Kumbabhishekam ceremony in 2006. Two years ago, the temple was included in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department’s one-time puja scheme. It draws numerous devotees from across Tamil Nadu, as it holds great significance for the local community as their ancestral place of worship.

On 26 January 2025 morning, local farmers noticed that the temple sanctum door had been broken into and alerted nearby residents. When the priest and villagers inspected the temple, they found the goddess idol lying on the ground, with its head and hands detached. Based on the complaint filed, the Vathirairuppu police are investigating the crime with the help of sniffer dogs and fingerprint experts.

Authorities confirmed that the thieves had broken the iron gate, stolen money and other items from the temple, and damaged the sanctum door. They also believe the thieves moved the original idol using an iron rod, causing it to fall and break. Locals suspect the involvement of an idol smuggling ring and are calling for the Idol Smuggling Prevention Unit to investigate further.

History Of Nallathangal Temple

The Nallathangal Temple is tied to a deep historical and cultural legacy. Nallathangal lived in Vathirairuppu, and her elder brother, Nallathambi, came from a respected agricultural family. She was married to Kasirajan from Madurai and was a mother to seven children. At that time, Madurai was experiencing a severe famine, prompting Nallathangal to seek assistance from her brother. Unfortunately, Nallathambi was not home, and his wife turned her away, offering only an old earthen pot, wet firewood, and an unusable cup. Nevertheless, Nallathangal managed to ignite the oven through her devotion, preparing food to stave off hunger.

Despite her efforts, the dire circumstances led her to a tragic decision; she took her own life and that of her children by jumping into a well. Upon returning home, Nallathambi learned of the heartbreaking events that had transpired. In his grief and anger, he killed his wife for her harshness and then fatally stabbed himself. Nallathangal, known for her piety, along with Nallathambi, received divine intervention as Lord and Mother appeared before them, granting them life once more. Nallathangal pleaded with the divine beings to keep them in their presence and not return them to the earthly realm.

The Lord assured her that the time would come for that and instructed her to continue protecting the people until then. In honor of their story, a temple was constructed for both siblings, and their children were represented in the form of idols.

Rahul Gandhi’s Close Aide & Congress Leader Sam Pitroda Wants Illegal Bangladeshi Immigrants To Be Accommodated In India, Wants Indians To Be Inclusive And Share Resources With Them

Rahul Gandhi's aide Sam Pitroda Wants Illegal Bangladeshi Immigrants To Be Accommodated In India, Wants Indians To Be Inclusive And Share Resources With Them

Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress and a close associate of Rahul Gandhi, has said that India should be more inclusive and accommodate Bangladeshis who enter illegally into India.

In a widely circulated video on social media, Pitroda remarked, “So, from this the message is that – We don’t think about our planet. We’re not worried about global warming. And we’re not worried about people as well. Because we’re behind immigration. These people are poor. These people are hungry. They do so much work and come here. Ofcourse they come illegally. That’s also not correct. We understand that. But we’ll go behind immigration. We’ll go after Bangladeshis. We’ll go after minorities. As opposed to saying we’ll include everybody. If we’ve to suffer little bit, it’s okay. We will suffer little bit. We will share. But nobody wants to share. They want to keep their pie bigger and bigger

Pitroda, no stranger to controversies, had previously faced backlash for making divisive remarks about Indians from different regions and for advocating for an inheritance tax under Congress’ wealth redistribution agenda.

Delhi Court Orders FIR Against Alleged Journalist Rana Ayyub Over Allegations Of Insulting Hindu Deities And Anti-India Sentiment

Delhi Court Orders FIR Against Alleged Journalist Rana Ayyub Over Allegations Of Insulting Hindu Deities And Anti-India Sentiment

A Delhi court has directed the registration of an FIR against journalist Rana Ayyub based on a complaint accusing her of insulting Hindu deities and spreading anti-India sentiment through her posts on the social media platform X.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Himanshu Raman Singh of the Saket Courts observed thatprima-faciecognizable offences under Sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups), 295A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class), and 505 (statements conducing public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, were made out against Ayyub.

“In view of the facts and circumstances, the complaint discloses commission of cognizable offences for which an FIR is warranted. Present application under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C is allowed. SHO Cyber Police Station, South is directed convert the contents of complaint as FIR and investigate the matter fairly, the court stated.

The complaint was filed on 11 November 2022, by lawyer Amita Sachdeva via the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Sachdeva alleged that Ayyub consistently used her social media platforms to insult Hindu deities, malign the unity of India, and promote hostility toward Indian citizens, including the Indian Army.

It was further alleged by Sachdeva that despite follow-ups, no action had been taken on her complaint, prompting her to file an application under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) for the registration of an FIR.

The judge noted that the preliminary inquiry report categorized the complaint’s allegations as non-cognizable. However, the court held a different view, stating, Considering the gravity of the allegations, the Court is of the view that it is expedient to order investigation in the present matter in exercise of the judicial power under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. The facts pleaded by complainant are such which necessitate intervention of State machinery in the form of police investigation and the complainant would not be in a position to collect evidence.”

The case will now be investigated by the Cyber Police Station, South, as directed by the court.

Supreme Court Stays Madras HC Observations Against Chennai Police Commissioner In Anna University Sexual Assault Case FIR Leak

Madras HC order held the Chennai Police Commissioner responsible for the FIR leak in the Anna University sexual assault case.

The Supreme Court of India on Monday, 27 January 2025, stayed portions of a Madras High Court order that held the Chennai Police Commissioner and other officials responsible for leaking the First Information Report (FIR) and revealing the identity of the survivor in the Anna University sexual assault case.

A Bench comprising Justices B.V. Nagarathna and Satish Chandra Sharma issued the interim stay on parts of the 28 December 2024, High Court ruling. These included observations that the Police Commissioner had disclosed crucial details about the crime scene and that the language used in the FIR amounted to victim-blaming. The assault occurred on the university campus on 24 December 2024.

The High Court had previously criticised the Police Commissioner for revealing details of the case during a press conference held two days after the incident without prior government approval. The court also directed the State government and the Home Secretary to conduct a departmental inquiry into the FIR leak and initiate disciplinary action against officials for alleged negligence and dereliction of duty.

The Tamil Nadu government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court earlier in January 2025 against the Madras High Court’s directive to take legal action against the Police Commissioner. The Tamil Nadu government, in its appeal, claimed that the leakage of the FIR was due to an administrative lapse at the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and not the fault of the Tamil Nadu police. On this basis, the government is challenging the Madras High Court’s directive to take action against the Chennai Police Commissioner.

Appearing for the Tamil Nadu government, senior advocates Mukul Rohatgi and Siddharth Luthra, along with advocates D. Kumanan and Sabarish Subramanian, argued that the FIR and victim details were leaked due to a technical issue in the Centre-managed Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS).

Mr. Rohatgi attributed the leak to the system’s migration from the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, stating, “This has nothing to do with us. Yet, the judge hauls up the Police Commissioner and the constable who drafted the FIR.”

He defended the Police Commissioner’s press conference, saying it was intended to “soften the situation” as public tensions were running high.

In response to the court’s query on whether the survivor’s details were still circulating on social media, Rohatgi and Luthra assured that all such content had been blocked. They added that a second FIR had been filed by the cybercrime wing to track down those responsible for circulating the information online.

Advocate Balaji Srinivasan, representing the original petitioner R. Varalakshmi, countered the State’s defence, stating, “Everything was blocked after the victim was named and shamed.” He further alleged political interference, stating that “The alleged offender is a member of the ruling party. He is a history-sheeter. They are not investigating who else is involved.”

The court took note of these submissions and issued notices in the petition while staying the High Court’s conclusions until further notice.

Will The Pusillanimous Vetrimaaran/Pa Ranjith/Vijay Sethupathi Allow Women From Their Own Families Or Community To Go Woke And Be ‘Bad Girls’ Embracing Vice?

Will Vetrimaaran, Pa Ranjith, or Anurag Kashyap show any woman of their families as 'Bad Girl' indulging in vice?

Vetrimaaran who is known for making leftist-Dravidianist propaganda films has produced a film under his banner Grassroot Films called ‘Bad Girl‘, that attempts to portrays the story of a Tamil Brahmin girl who wants to be rebellious, break the shackles of “Brahminical patriarchy“, chooses to live the “high” life and defies her parents and family.

The film being touted as a ‘coming-of-age’ drama about a Tamil Brahmin girl, glorifies her indulging in vice while her family is portrayed as being regressive.

The trailer features an elderly Tamil Brahmin woman, presumably the protagonist’s grandmother, angrily yelling at the teenage protagonist “Aye Peeda! Aathla Illiya Nee?” (Hey you filth! Are you have your periods?), a desperate attempt to demonize Tamil Brahmins and show them as despicable.

It also shows the teenage school going girl lusting over a boy from another community.

The girl then goes on to blackmail her mother saying that once school is over she will do whatever she likes with visuals showing montages of the girl having sex.

What is a Dravidioid film without peddling propaganda against the Narendra Modi government. The last scene of the trailer shows the protagonists family joining other members of their community banging their vessels and shouting “Go Corona Go!”, an apparent dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s clarion call to thank the frontline workers for their unparalleled service.

The trailer of this film ‘Bad Girl’, produced by Dravidianist director Vetrimaaran in collaboration with leftist, virtue-signaling filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, was shared by the notoriously anti-Hindu and flop-prone director Pa. Ranjith.

It was also shared by Dravidianist virtue-signalling actor Vijay Sethupathi.

There are some serious questions to be asked to these pusillanimous Dravidianists.

Will they be able to watch this film with their wives and daughters? Will Vetrimaaran or Pa Ranjith or Anurag Kashyap or Vijay Sethupathi raise their daughters like they’ve shown the protagonist? Will Vetrimaaran or Pa Ranjith or Anurag Kashyap show women of their families or community as ‘Bad Girls’ indulging in vice?

Why do these pusillanimous Dravidianist filmmakers always choose a Brahmin woman for their “progressive” and “bold” ideas? Why do they always go after the Brahmin woman’s flesh to satiate their fetish? Is it because they don’t find their own wives and women attractive?

Why don’t these pusillanimous social justice warriors show members of their community or any other dominant community as regressive? Why not show women of your own community to be “bold” and “progressive” breaking the familial shackles?

Why don’t you show a hijab-clad woman liberating herself to fulfill her desires?

Promiscuity is power only for Brahmin women and not for women of other communities? Will you allow your wives or daughters to be as promiscuous as you portray the protagonist to be? You want your wives and daughters to be “pathini” while you make Brahmin women as guinea pigs for your social justice experiment?

Dear Dravidoid cowards, Brahmin women are not your social justice trophies!

Tamil Brahmin Women Don’t Need To Be ‘Bad Girls’ To Emancipate Themselves, It’s The Dravidian Lot Who Need To Emancipate Their Women

True progressiveness for Brahmin women lies in education, careers, and financial independence—not promiscuity, as 'Bad Girl' claims.

Bad Girl, an upcoming Tamil film produced by Anurag Kashyap and Dravidianist director Vetrimaaran is the latest film to join the list of anti-Brahmin propaganda films to come out from Kollywood, targeting Tamil Brahmin women. From the looks of the trailer, the film attempts to portrays the story of a Tamil Brahmin girl who wants to be rebellious, break the shackles of “Brahminical patriarchy“, chooses to live the “high” life and defies her parents and family.

The author of this piece is not at all surprised that the director and the lead of the latest Brahmin-bashing film belongs to the Tamil Brahmin community which is portrayed as regressive in the movie. It’s equally unsurprising that these two talented women appear to have fallen into the trap carefully laid by the Dravidian ecosystem.

“Use the same fingers of the Paapan (casteist slur for Tamil Brahmins) to prick his eyes” – so goes a popular saying among the Dravidian elite. They had done it multiple times over the last 100 years. And this movie is part of the same playbook. Millions of gallons of sewage have flown through though Cooum over the last 100 years but the playbook remains the same. The likes of Krishnas and Sekhars hobnobbing with the Dravidianazis, to gain acceptance among the Dravidian elite for their own opportunities, even as they willingly let their own community become the perpetual punching bag for the Dravidianazis exemplifies the larger issues within the urban Tamil Brahmin community. These young ladies are doing the same – either they’ve fallen into the Dravidianist trap or they’re just doing it to gain acceptance in the Dravidian filmdom.

While these woke Dravidian ladies regurgitate the stale Dravidian vomit targeting Brahmins, the author considers it his duty to state some facts that will allow the young ladies to introspect deeply.

Tamil Brahmin Women are emancipated and have moved up in all spheres of life over the last 100 years. If Tamil Brahmins were regressive, Usha Sundaram would not have become India’s first Women Pilot, Indira Nooyi would not have become CEO of Pepsico, Janaki and Jayalalithaa Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Rukmini Arundale and Padma Subrahmanyam doyens of Bharatnatyam, Bhavani Devi a champion in Fencing, Mallika Srinivasan a successful corporate honcho and not to mention, thousands and thousands of Tamil Brahmin women who have excelled across spheres right from corporate to arts to sports. MS Subbulakshmi, a woman who was born into the Devadasi community and married Sadasivam was supported and encouraged throughout by her Brahmin husband. This was 90 years back.

And the very fact that these two young ladies from Brahmin families have entered film industry itself stands testimony to the progressive nature of the Brahmin community. These two young ladies can touch their conscience and check if ladies from other communities swearing allegiance to EV Ramasamy Naicker (hailed as Periyar by his followers) have let their women folk choose the career of their choice especially in the fields like cinema, arts or modelling.

EVRites are still stuck in 1925. They think Brahmin women still tonsure their heads after their husband’s death and cover their heads. Gone are those days. Brahmin households became progressive a long time back when it comes to educating their women and help them choose the career of their choice. Brahmin husbands aid their women folk in these aspects as well and support their wives – whether they’re having their periods or not. Millions of Brahmin women have been fully supported and backed by their families to realise their dreams.

As an entrepreneur in financial services catering to diverse demographics, I can confidently assert that Tamil Brahmin women are among the most financially independent. The influence they wield over their family’s financial decisions is unparalleled, showcasing a level of empowerment that stands out compared to women from other landed castes.

These young ladies, if they had a tinge of self-respect or cared about emancipation of women could have focused on such examples and themes. Instead, they chose to turn woke and fall right into the Dravidian playbook. True progressiveness lies in advancements in education, careers, and financial independence—not in promiscuity or becoming trophy wives to individuals who ironically seek the eradication of the very community these women originate from.

It is, however, a concerning reality that an increasing number of young women from the Tamil Brahmin community are embracing “woke” ideologies. Blaming the girls alone is pointless—it is ultimately the responsibility of parents to raise their daughters with the awareness and values needed to resist such influences. In this regard, some parents have clearly fallen short.

Hopefully, young women from the Tamil Brahmin community understand the tactics of the Dravidian playbook, steer clear of malicious propaganda in films like ‘Bad Girl’ and not become yet another toy in the hands of these evil divisive forces. We are in 2025 now. Brahmin women are AI coders, entrepreneurs, doctors and engineers making this world a better place so that the woke feminazis get to virtue-signal about the own community they’re born into.

And when will these Dravidian Stocks realise that they are stuck in 1920s and take steps to emancipate women in their own kitchens?

Real Face Of Dravidianists: DMK-Ally MDMK MP Durai Vaiko Says ‘Those Who Insult Periyar Are Low-Born’

MDMK leader Durai Vaiko called Seeman as "low-born" after the NTK leader criticized Dravidian ideologue EVR.

Durai Vaiko, the principal secretary of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) party and Trichy MP, has stirred controversy by referring indirectly to Naam Tamil Katchi leader Seeman as “low-born.” This remark came after Seeman criticized Dravidian ideologue EV Ramasamy Naicker, commonly known as Periyar, prompting backlash from various Dravidian sympathizers.

Seeman’s comments, which he insists are based on writings by Periyar himself, have been condemned as defamatory by several political figures sympathetic to Dravidian ideology. In response to Seeman, Durai Vaiko addressed the controversy during a press interaction on 27 January 2025 in Erode.

When asked about Seeman’s critical remarks about EVR, Durai Vaiko stated, “This is Periyar’s soil. Thanthai Periyar was a beacon of social justice, a guide not only for Tamil Nadu but also for India. Today, if Tamil Nadu is spearheading in various sectors, it is because of the educational growth that was laid by the Dravidian movement and Thanthai Periyar. If women’s rights and women’s society have progressed, it is because of Thanthai Periyar. In such a situation, we are fully confident that the people of Erode, the birthplace of Thanthai Periyar, should teach a fitting lesson to those who disparage Periyar, who fought for women’s rights and social development. If there is proficiency in English today, it is because of the two-language policy. Youth and students in Europe, America, and worldwide are influencing various sectors because of their English proficiency. For many things like social justice and everything else, the foundation was laid by Thanthai Periyar. If someone disrespects such a great man, a man who has worked for us, then he is low-born.”

Madras HC Dismisses IUML Ramanathapuram MP Navaskani’s Plea To Quash Election Conduct Violation Case

The Madras HC has dismissed a petition seeking to quash an election conduct violation case against IUML MP Navaskani and six others.

The Madras High Court has dismissed a petition seeking to quash an election violation case against Ramanathapuram MP Navaskani of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and six others.

The case dates back to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, during which Navaskani, who was contesting from the Ramanathapuram constituency on an IUML ticket, and others were accused of campaigning in the Kamuthi area using a vehicle without obtaining the required permission from the election officer. The Kamuthi police had registered a case against them for this alleged violation.

Subsequently, Navaskani and six co-accused filed a petition in the Madras High Court, seeking the dismissal of the case pending in the Ramanathapuram court. The petitioners claimed that the charges were politically motivated and demanded a stay on the trial proceedings.

The petition was heard by Justice P. Velmurugan, who ruled that there was sufficient prima facie evidence to proceed with the case. Consequently, the court dismissed the petition, allowing the case to continue in the trial court.
