Siva Shankar ‘Baba’ gets summoned by child rights commission once again over sexual harassment allegations by Sushil Hari school students

The Tamil Nadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TNCPCR) has issued summons once again to Siva Sankar ‘Baba’ and management of Sushi Hari school over the sexual harassment charges made by girls belonging to the school founded by him.

Siva Shankar Baba, who claims himself to be an incarnation of God, did not appear for the first summons issued by the Commission in this regard.

Reportedly, the self-styled god man, who was on a spiritual tour to Uttarakhand, has suffered a heart attack and has been admitted to hospital in Dehradun, as claimed by his disciples.

“The administrator of Sushil Hari School, Janani (representative of Siva Shankar Baba) had appeared before the commission and informed us that he is in Dehradun for more than a week for a religious trip and that he got a sudden heart attack on the night of June 8 and has undergone a surgery at a hospital in Dehradun. Related medical records, bills and photos were submitted to the commission,” said Dr Saranya Jaikumar, a member of the TNCPCR.

The principal of the school too didn’t appear for the hearing as she had reportedly tested positive for COVID.

The allegations against Shivshankar Baba ranged from molestation, intoxicating minors with alcohol, showing pornography to minors and even rape. He had been accused by many of the alumnae, following which the TNCPCR arrived at the school for enquiries.

Sushil Hari became the sixth school in the city to be summoned in this regard as several sexual harassment allegations sprung up from students in schools all over Chennai.

Communist govt in Kerala sells medicine made out of cow dung and cow urine for boosting memory

The Kerala government ayurvedic medicine company Oushadhi has been found to sell medicines made out of cow dung claiming that this would boost memory and improve concentration. This medicine called the ‘panchagavya gritham’ is said to be made out of cow dung, cow urine, cow milk, ghee and curd. This medicine is also been claimed to cure mental disease, jaundice, fever, and epilepsy.

It is to be noted that, in 2020, the Kerala government had sought the permission of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to incorporate cow urine as ayurvedic medicine for COVID treatment. Following this, this panchagavya gritham has now garnered attention on social media. Oushadhi is one of the largest public-sector ayurvedic companies in the country and produces 498 ayurvedic formulations. The last recorded revenue of the Kerala government from this sector was in 2015 and was recorded as ₹82 crores.

Communists in India often resort to mocking Hinduism for cow worship and engage in hurting religious sentiments of Hindus by organizing beef eating festivals. Communist sympathizers on social media who often resort to derogating Hindus by making ‘Gau mutra’ jibes find themselves in a fix now.

This move by the state run entity has come under scrutiny for the Communist’s hypocritical nature.

RaGa’s top aide Digvijaya Singh tells a Pakistani that Congress would reconsider abrogation of Article 370 if it comes to power

Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh recently told a Pakistani-based journalist on the Clubhouse app that if the party wins power at the Centre, it will overturn the Modi government’s decision to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

The alleged chat was released on Twitter by BJP leader Amit Malviya, who slammed the Congress party for mirroring Pakistan’s aspirations.

When asked about the future of Kashmir if Congress comes into power, Digvijay Singh told Pakistani journalist Shahzeb Jillani, “When they withdrew Article 370, there was no democracy in Kashmir, and there was no ‘insaniyat’ (humanity) since everyone was imprisoned. Meanwhile, ‘Kashmiriyat’ is something that is the fundamentals of secularism. Because in a Muslim-majority state there was a Hindu king and both worked together. In fact, the reservation in Kashmir was given to Kashmiri pandits, therefore, the decision of revoking Article 370 and reducing the statehood of J&K, is a sad decision. And the Congress party will certainly have to relook at this issue.”

During the same discussion, Digvijay added on religious fundamentalism, “I honestly feel what is damaging to society is religious extremism, whether it is Hindu, Islam, Christianity, or Sikhism.” It just breeds animosity, which in turn breeds violence.”

Religious groups must realize that everyone has the right to follow their own traditions and faith and that no one has the authority to force their views and religion on others, he added.

The Narendra Modi-led BJP government decided to abolish Article 370 on August 5, 2019, in order to integrate Jammu and Kashmir into India.

This decision comes at a time when Tamil Nadu has been topping the list of new cases, active cases and death in the entire country.

It is to be remembered that just a few weeks ago, when the AIADMK was in power, the DMK made a huge hue and cry and organized protests when the previous government allowed TASMACs to open after relaxing the lockdown.

Chief Minister MK Stalin had back then wore a black attire with one hand holding a black flag and another holding a placard with the line “Give 5000 rupees to bottom section of the people. Why open liquor shops during lockdown?”

MK Stalin protests against opening of TASMAC despite spike in COVID-19 cases in Tamil Nadu- The New Indian Express

BJP leaders lashed out at the DMK for the decision to open TASMAC at a time when the second wave of the virus is yet to subside.

BJP Tamil Nadu Vice President K. Annamalai said that opening up of TASMAC shops in TN from June 14 clearly shows the priority of the DMK government while pointing out the U-turn that they have made after coming to power.

Coimbatore South MLA and BJP National Women’s Wing President Vanathi Srinivasan said “At a time when thousands are getting infected and hundreds are dying, is opening TASMAC necessary?” She also took a jibe at MK Stalin’s sister Kanimozhi who had condemned the previous AIADMK government opening TASMAC.

BJP Spokesperson SG Suryah in a tweet came down heavy on the DMK government for opening TASMAC at a time when Tamil Nadu has topped the daily corona cases for 24 consecutive days and livelihood of people are in tatters following the 1 month lockdown.

BJP Tamil Nadu Spokesperson K.T. Raghavan too took a dig at Chief Minister Stalin asking him to take into consideration his own words when he was opposition leader.

PMK founder Dr. Ramadoss also condemned the move of the DMK government

Netizens too took to social media pointing out the hypocrisy and have been lashing out at the DMK’s double talk for opening TASMACs .

Bengaluru: Two men held for targeting Indian Army exchange and gathering classified info

A combined operation by Military Intelligence (MI) and Bengaluru city police resulted in the arrest of two men suspected of targeting Indian army telephone exchanges and soldiers for the purpose of gathering classified information.

The accused, Ibrahim M Pullatti, 36, a Kerala native, and V Gautam, 27, from Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, were residing in Bengaluru’s BTM Layout and used 30 electronic devices with 32 sim cards each to establish an illegal exchange at each of the six locations in BTM Layout.

They illegally converted international phone calls into local, and indulged in cheating and other activities, affecting the country’s security. Most of the calls made were to Dubai, police said.

The entire racket was busted by the Army’s Southern Command’s Military Intelligence Department, which intercepted a call received at an Army base in eastern India a few weeks ago. During the call, a Pakistani spy masquerading as a senior official inquired for general details.

Thirty-two SIM box devices, which can use 960 SIM cards at a time, were seized from them.

Further investigation by the Military Intelligence Unit revealed that the duo set up similar telephone exchanges in other parts of Bengaluru and made calls to several military installations in the past, including the Movement Control Office (MCO) and the Principal Comptroller of Defence Accounts (PCDA).

As per reports, India is all set to receive its first batch of the S-400 anti-aircraft surface-to-air missile system from Russia in October-December this year.

On Thursday (June 10) Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told the Interfax news agency that, “Everything is going according to schedule,”.

The S-400 is considered one of the most advanced long-range surface-to-air missile defence system capable of destroying incoming hostile aircraft, missiles and even drones at ranges of up to 400 km.

Members of the Indian military are already in Russia to train and understand the S-400 in January 2021, the agency said.

In October 2018, India signed a USD 5 billion deal with Russia to buy five units of the S-400 air defence missile systems ignoring warnings and threats by the then Trump administration as this purchase may trigger US sanctions under Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA).

1000-year-old egg discovered in Israel

Archaeologists in Israel have recently unearthed a 1000-year-old chicken egg during excavations in the town of Yavneh. According to a report in the Daily Mail, the egg was found on a Byzantine industrial complex.

The most fascinating part about this egg discovery is that it was surrounded by human faeces in an ancient sewer. The Archaeological Survey of Israel (IAA), which shared information about the discovery of the egg, said a collection of Islamic-era bone toys known as Coptic dolls was also found in the septic tank.

“We were astonished to find it,” IAA archaeologist Alla Nagorsky, head of this part of the salvage dig, told Haaretz. “From time to time we find fragments of eggshells, but a whole egg is extraordinary.”

The egg was about six centimetres high and had some cracks in its shell. However, over time, the egg had become more fragile. The photo was released when the egg was currently taken to the IAA’s laboratory for analysis. When Lee Barry Call of the IAA, a leading poultry expert in the ancient world, spoke of this, he revealed that there was no embryo inside the egg. He said that there was no yellow nucleus when it was slightly opened. Researchers are now working to extract DNA from the egg.

They are carrying out a study to learn more about the ancient object. How this egg got into the sewer tank is still a mystery to archaeologists. They also agree that the answer to this question will never be known. All three bone dolls found with eggs during excavations are thought to be thousands of years old. These Coptic dolls first appeared in Egypt and Palestine. Excavations in Yavneh have been underway for several months to develop a new housing project.

“Socialism weds Mamata Banerjee!” – Salem couple’s wedding invitation grabs eyeballs!

The wedding invitation of Salem District Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI)’s son went viral on social media as it read “Socialism weds Mamata Banerjee.” In a world where leaders who claim to be ‘communists’ have Sanskrit origin names or are named after gods, this secretary’s sons’ names grab eyeballs since they are named Communism, Leninism and Socialism.

His third son Socialism, who is now engaged to be married, is a silversmith. His bride-to-be is named Mamata Banerjee, since her parents are staunch loyalists to the Congress Party, and had named their daughter after the current Chief Minister of West Bengal, who was an up-and-coming political presence two decades ago. Despite their opposing political ideologies, the two families are very close and are now marrying their youngest children to each other. What’s more, is that the oldest brother’s son is named Marxism.

“Communism will be there till humanity is alive,” says Mohan, the proud father of three men. “Enrolling my boys in school was real trouble. Teachers were shell shocked and taken aback on hearing the names. As students, they were bullied by their peers and used to come back complaining to me. As they got into college, things got much better as the peers are fairly aware of the ideologies by then” the father recalled to Zee media.

The wedding is set to take place amidst COVID restrictions in their native village of AK Patti Kaattoor in Salem, Tamil Nadu and it is the same village that has children named all sorts of things like Vietnam, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Romania.

TN farmer produces record yield by following 100% organic farming techniques

A farmer named Palaniappan has produced record yield by following 100% organic cultivation techniques. He cultivates paddy and bananas organically near Tiruputhur and produces 15 tonnes of seed paddy per annum.

Palaniappan is a PUC graduate from Sirukoodalpatti. He was recently awarded the best farmer award in the district a few years ago. He has achieved this by following traditional agricultural practices on 10 acres of land. Palaniappan had heard about Nammazhvar and he switched to organic farming by means of traditional farming methods.

Seeing his achievements in paddy, banana and vegetable production in natural agriculture, the Department of Agriculture t have given him the contract for seed paddy production. He produces 15 tons of seed paddy in 10 acres annually. He also cultivates bananas and sells plantain leaves and fruits. He is also earning from rearing cows and poultry farming as a side venture.

Palaniappan said, ‘Farmers who want to switch to organic farming have to work hard to condition the soil for the first two years. In the Tamil month of Aadi should be ploughed twice as much. Then, this soil can be sown and used for cultivating the crop for the next 40 days. The seedlings can be replanted after growing in the nursery on the 15th day after sowing.  In arid areas, weeds grow easily. This can be prevented by ploughing when it rains. 15 days after transplanting, it is important to apply Pancha Kavya to the soil. Even an inch of water is enough to cultivate a hedge along the sides of the field.”
