BJP MLA earns praise for helping obtain oxygen cylinders from ISRO

BJP MLA M R Gandhi thanked ISRO’s Chairman K Sivan for promising to provide oxygen immediately after he had requested him. MR Gandhi, who was recently elected as an MLA had requested the ISRO for oxygen cylinders to alleviate the oxygen shortage at the hospital in Nagercoil.

In Nagercoil, M R Gandhi of the BJP was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the recent assembly elections. Following his win, he has been working tirelessly since the day of the victory, has been rushing through all the activities related to the corona.

He met with the district collector and discussed the state of the spread of coronavirus in the constituency. He then inspected whether the hospitals had adequate oxygen facilities. Noticing the fact that there was a shortage, he went on to request ISRO’s Chairman K Sivan to supply oxygen to Nagercoil immediately as there was an oxygen shortage at the Asaripallam Medical College Hospital.

Following this, ISRO’s propulsion centre at Mahindragiri assured that they would immediately arrange for oxygen cylinders to be supplied to them. After this announcement, M R Gandhi thanked ISRO and its chairman on his social media page for paving the way for oxygen scarcity. Notably, Kailasavadivoo Sivan is a native of Nagercoil and was born in Keezhasarakkalvilai.
