Karnataka’s assembly minister Eshwarappa said during the BJP’s election campaign in Krishnagiri’s Thalli constituency that, the BJP, which was instrumental in installing the Thiruvalluvar statue in Bangalore, should win in Thalli constituency.
The BJP’s election campaign meeting was held in Pennangur village in the Thalli constituency of Krishnagiri district. District Chairman Nagaraj presided over the function. Karnataka’s Rural Development and Local Government Minister Eshwarappa spoke in support of candidate Nagesh Kumar.
Addressing the people, he said, “The Communist Party contesting in the Thalli constituency was once the party of the poor. Over time it has evolved into a party of the rich. The Communist Party’s whereabouts are unknown not only in West Bengal but across the country. Similarly, in the Thalli constituency, this time the BJP will win and the whereabouts of the Communists will be unknown. During the BJP rule in Karnataka, steps were taken to erect the statue of Thiruvalluvar in Bangalore.”
