“You May Be In Delhi, But Your Family Is In TN”: Alleged Audio Of VCK Goons Threatening CRPF Jawan Surfaces

A phone call conversation between a CRPF soldier and goons belonging to Thol. Thirumavalavan’s Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) has surfaced in which they can be heard threatening the soldier of dire consequences for speaking about their leader.

Recently, VCK chief Thirumavalavan who is also a Lok Sabha MP, stoked separatism while speaking at a book release function at his party office in Chennai.

Addressing his cadres, Thirumavalavan said “VCK made a significant contribution to Tamil national movements. It has made possible what the major political parties could not. It cannot be called Tamil nationalism if you work under the Indian Central government and speak about Tamil nationalism. The ultimate goal of Tamil nationalism should be the establishment of a separate country known as Tamil Nadu.”

In response to this speech, a CRPF soldier from Tamil Nadu had posted a video in which he lashed out Thirumavalavan for speaking against the unity and integrity of India.

“Vanakkam everyone. This post is for Thol. Thirumavalavan who is asking for a separate Tamil Nadu. You are asking for separate country. Are we (soldiers) guarding our country’s borders for this? For the country to be split into 2 and 3? We are serving here to unite the country.” the soldier says in the video.

Adding further the soldier says “You will ask for a separate Tamil Nadu for your own gains and vested interest. Today you will ask for a separate Tamil Nadu. Tomorrow you will ask for a district to be made a separate country. How dare you and on what basis you people are throbbing to make Tamil Nadu a separate country? So that you can survive on TASMAC?”

He also hit out at the ruling regime in Tamil Nadu saying “It is the mistake of those in power to have given you this much leeway. You will say whatever you want under the garb of free speech and you expect us to remain silent? We are working hard to instill patriotism and love for our country in every Indian. Are we soldiers fools so that you can ask for a separate Tamil Nadu? If you’re man enough, come to the streets and protest for a separate Tamil Nadu. If we don’t make you say Vande Mataram and Jai Hind from your own mouth, we’re not the Indian Army.”

This rebuttal video of the soldier had gone viral on social media platforms.

Following this, reports have emerged that goons belonging to Thirumavalavan’s party have threatened the CRPF soldier.

In a phone call conversation that has surfaced on social media, the VCK goons can be heard hurling expletives and threatening to harm the soldier’s family.

One Manimaran of the VCK asks the soldier why he is laughing to which the soldier responds “I was in duty while you were threatening. A few officers were nearby. I just got done with my duty. Brother, I won’t be afraid even if Pakistanis stands with a tanker in front of me. You are calling from there and asking me to apologize? Silly!”

The VCK goon further goes on to hurl abuses at the soldier and says that the latter has insulted Thirumavalavan whom they worship as a god to which the soldier says “I revere India as my god. I guard the nation standing in hot and cold. You will threaten me from there and expect me to stay silent?”

Many other VCK goons join on the other side to abuse and threaten the soldier.

“Not just Manimaran. Your post has disturbed all of us here who are office bearers of the party.”, another person says.

Another unidentified individual goes on to say “You may be in Delhi. Your mother, father and siblings are here in Tamil Nadu only right?” implicitly threatening to harm them.

The entire conversation is filled with expletives and vulgar words against the soldier and his family.

“Who are you to speak against my leader? I will take the pulp out of you. I will kill you. I will come to the border and bomb you.”, one of the VCK goons can be heard saying.
