DMK Spokesperson Abdul Hameed Sheik Mohamed alias Manushiyaputhiran, who is known for his role as the Sexologist in the porn film “Vaazhvin Ragasiyam” in the Tamil film “Super Deluxe” directed by Thiyagarajan Kumararaja, has lamented in a Facebook post about his stagnant growth in his party and expressed his discontent, implying that hard workers are not paid off in DMK, unlike BJP which rewarded Dr. Tamilisai with plum postings.
Manushiyaputhiran posted a ten-year-old photo of himself on Facebook and said,”This is how I appeared in TV debates ten years ago. I used to wear T-shirts to TV debates back then. Everyone used to ask me where I got those different T-shirts. I had so many ardent fans. I was so fierce back then. I started wearing shirts after joining DMK in 2013.”

He added,”That was the time when I was debating fiercely with Tamilisai Soundararajan. The show will be very exciting If Tamilisai Sundararajan and I were to debate. A few days ago I saw five to six Pondicherry Innova police cars speeding down the road. It was Tamilisai Soundararajan who was going in her convoy as Hon Governor of two states. But I was going to TV debates as usual.”
Comparing himself to the ’96’ movie lead character Ram played by Vijaysethupathi, he said,”Time has left me stagnated at one place like Ram in 96.”
The DMK is known for its dynastic politics where only members of the Karunanidhi family and other second rung leaders and their family have been rewarded.
Manushyaputhiran’s tweet expressing his dissatisfaction shows that he is a victim of family politics.
