VCK Functionary Vikraman Allegedly Disguised As Woman And Sexually Assaulted A Man, Polimer News Reveals And Deletes News Later

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) functionary Vikraman has been accused of sexually assaulting a man while allegedly disguised as a woman in a residential complex in Iyyappanthangal, Chennai.

According to the report by Polimer News, VCK functionary Vikraman, was residing in the apartment complex until May 2024. He was seen roaming around at night in women’s attire many times. A 23-year-old worker who sleeps in the basement was allegedly harassed by a person repeatedly.

As the harassment persisted, the victim’s colleagues and a few residents, who had been discreetly monitoring the situation, decided to intervene and confront the perpetrator. When they finally confronted the harasser, they discovered that it was not a woman but VCK Vikraman himself. The victim, who sustained injuries, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Given Vikraman’s political affiliations, he was taken to the clubhouse inside the apartment complex, questioned, and then expelled overnight without informing the police.

It has also been alleged that Vikraman attempted to suppress evidence by threatening those who had recorded the incident and even offered them a large sum of money in exchange for deleting the footage. It is noteworthy to mention that Vikraman had recently married a Kollywood associate director.

Previous Allegations Against Vikraman

Vikraman has faced multiple allegations of sexual harassment in the past. In 2023, a Dalit woman lawyer, Kiruba Munusamy, accused him of harassment, financial exploitation, and caste-based discrimination under the guise of a romantic relationship. Based on her complaint, the Chennai police registered an FIR against him on charges of rape, cheating, defamation, and violations under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

According to Munusamy, she and Vikraman were in a relationship for over two years. However, when she expressed her desire for marriage, he refused. She also alleged that he subjected her to emotional, sexual, and financial abuse while making casteist remarks about her Dalit identity. In her complaint she noted that that after assuring to marrying her, Vikraman had borrowed ₹13 lakh and a laptop from her. In April 2023, she wrote to VCK party president Thol Thirumavalavan, detailing the damage caused by Vikraman’s actions.

Despite the party setting up an internal inquiry committee, Munusamy claimed she never received any official report on the findings. Frustrated with the lack of action, she took to social media in July 2023 to demand accountability. When no response was given, she escalated the matter to the Chennai Commissioner of Police and later filed a private petition in court, leading to a formal FIR.

As per the court’s direction, Vikraman was charged with multiple offenses, including criminal breach of trust, cheating, rape, defamation, and violations under the Information Technology Act. The case was registered at the Vadapalani All Women Police Station under 13 different sections of the law.

Additionally, Vikraman had also been accused of sexual misconduct by a male victim in 2021. The survivor, who remained anonymous, alleged that Vikraman lured him to a supposed audition for a Jallikattu-themed film. During the encounter, Vikraman reportedly made him remove his shirt, act in a masculine manner, and then sexually harassed him. The victim claimed Vikraman locked away his shirt and pleaded with him to remain silent, promising opportunities in the film industry. Due to Vikraman’s political influence, the survivor initially refrained from going public but later shared his ordeal through social media.
