US accuses China’s irresponsible reaction to Wuhan virus, says it concealed information

In a recent press statement, the White House has accused China of not just dealing with the Wuhan virus irresponsibly but also of concealing information. Kayleigh McEnany, the White House press secretary shared the anguish of President Trump and said that China intentionally delayed revealing information about human to human transmission.

“They did not tell the WHO about it. Apart from that, the investigators from the USA were not allowed to go there in critical time to find out the origin of the infection. This is a major reason for unhappiness with China”, she said.

Earlier, Professor Zhang Yongzhen and his team had published the genome sequence of the Wuhan virus on all public platforms. The communist regime immediately shut down the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Centre where the Professor worked on January 12, and also coerced him to change his statement.

She also said that the US was still receiving misinformation from China. She added “I mean, look at this timeline and it’s really damning for the WHO when you just consider the fact that on December 31, you had Taiwanese officials warning about human to human transmission and the WHO did not make that public. On January 9, the WHO repeated China’s claim that the virus does not transmit readily between people.”

On Thursday, President Trump said that the Wuhan virus had a connection with the Wuhan Institute of Biology. He claimed to have evidence for the same. He said that China cannot prevent information from reaching America. He added that, “as far as WHO is concerned, they have some questions that are yet to be answered.”
