TNM’s Dhanya Rajendran Asks If Rashmika Mandana’s “Surrogate Election Ad” On Atal Setu Is Paid For, Netizens Ask If TNM Gets Paid For Doing “Surrogate Election Ad” For Congress-DMK

“Pushpa” fame Rashmika Mandanna, has sent the leftists and pro-Congress propagandists masquerading as journalists with her recent video post highlighting India’s impressive infrastructure advancements.

In response to the criticism she faced for praising the Atal Setu in interview with ANI news, Rashmika shared the video with the hashtag #MyIndia. Celebrating India’s progress, she emphasized, is vital for showcasing the nation’s achievements on a global stage.

Rashmika Mandanna, in her official X handle stated, “South India to North India… West India to East India… Connecting people, connecting hearts! #MyIndia” and added a video highlighting the recent crucial infrastructure developments of India.

Rashmika in the video stated, “Don’t look at me, look outside the car. What do you see? If you still see a sea bridge then (knock, Knock) open your eyes bro… Mumbai Trans Harbor Link, India’s longest ever sea bridge, 22 km long, 6 lanes, and it cuts a 2-hour journey to 20 minutes. Unbelievable, isn’t it? A few years ago, who would have thought that this could happen? This knock is on those closed doors which said India can’t dream big”

“But, we built this majestic marvel in just 7 years. Atal Setu has knocked so hard on the future doors that new doors have opened to Viksit Bharat. Atal Setu is not just a bridge, it’s a guarantee for a young India. Our nation is unstoppable now. You want to get 100’s of such Atal Setu bridges? Wake up and vote for development,” she added.

This brief video ignited a firestorm among leftists and Dravidianist journalists like Dhanya Rajendran, leaving them unable to stomach its content. They began lamenting and criticizing the latest video, which quickly gained traction. Eventually, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the video himself.

For instance, Dhanya Rajendran of The News Minute lamented, describing it as merely a PR exercise rather than an acknowledgment of the truth. She queried, “Are such indirect/surrogate election ads paid for? Should surrogate ads be declared as ads? Hello @ECISVEEP. Happened a lot during Telangana elections too”

However, netizens were quick to point out her hypocrisy given that her so-called ‘journalistic’ outlet has been actively peddling propaganda against the BJP and in favour of Congress and DMK.

The News Minute: A Propaganda Outlet Of Congress-DMK

TNM is a rabid leftist and Dravidianist propaganda outlet known for peddling half-truths and playing second fiddle to the Congress and DMK.

Previously, “The Commune” has exposed numerous claims and fake propaganda narratives by Dhanya Rajendran of The News Minute. Rajendran recently accused actress Rashmika of being a PR stunt for the BJP. However, on her official Instagram account, Rajendran openly declared her own bias as a journalist. In her status, she stated, “I am not a neutral journalist. No journalist should be neutral. They should be biased—biased towards the truth, towards the powerless, towards women, children, and the marginalized. Journalists are not here to merely tell you what A and B said, They have to tell you what A and B said and how powerful A is compared to B. End of story. There are no neutral people, There shouldn’t be.”

However, TNM’s Dhanya Rajendran have clearly chosen a stance that is “Anti-BJP” and “Pro-Congress, Pro-DMK.” In her statement, she mentioned that journalists should be biased in supporting women, but she has not addressed the case involving Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. Maliwal has filed an FIR against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA, Bibhav Kumar, alleging that he “slapped, hit her on the stomach, and kicked” her. It raises the question of whether Dhanya is waiting for a BJP MP to attack a woman.
