TN Cong Functionary Dhivya Marunthiah Who Peddled Separatist Narrative Gets A Taste Of Her Own Medicine

Tamil Nadu Congress functionary Dhivya Marunthiah seemed to have had a taste of her own medicine recently. On the night of 24 November 2024, she posted about an incident on the train she was travelling on. She wrote, “Hello @GMSRailway  These two unreserved person in S1 compartment, fighting with us (reserved) for the seat. Called upon someone & asked them to wait in next station to fight with us. We pulled on the chain, guard came but he’s not helping. It’s not safe here. Called Railway Police, but no help recieved. Please attend. Kaveri Express 16022″

Then, she updated the post with a video alleging that the passengers were being abused. She wrote, “This is not right. @GMSRailway They started abusing everyone in the compartment. Unnecessarily creating Kannada-Tamil issue. Please we need help.”

She even begged the people of Karnataka to treat others like humans.

When a concerned netizen asked her if other passengers were trying to help, out came the Karma boomerang! She wrote, “They came. These 2 men starts yelling at Kannada & started abusing in Kannada. They asked us to talk in Kannada. Unnecessarily!”

At this time, netizens reminded her of her old posts where she championed the “anti-Hindi” cause.

For every such post, she kept whining that she would ignore the “clowns” who shared her old posts supporting Tamil. She wrote, “Primary issue needs to be addressed. We need proactive measures from the Railway Police/RPF in the situation of mob violence in the railways. They will have to contain the mob before a situation escalates and not act upon after it becomes news. Their swift action is necessary. Keep a helpline number which is helpful for women IMMEDIATELY. Whole Sanghi RSS online ecosystem wanted it to be the language issue between states & targeting me. It’s not going to bother me. Because unlike you all, unlike @AshwiniVaishnaw, Unlike @RPF_INDIA, We STOOD THERE STRONGLY. We didn’t let that happen. Because we will always be the peaceful neighbor and that will never change at all. I will continue to ignore you clowns.”

Well, she successfully ignored everyone by copy-pasting the same text on their posts.

Here are some posts of hers from the past where she promoted anti-national, anti-Hindu, and separatist ideologies.

She called the Major Mukund Varadarajan biopic a “propaganda” movie.

She simped royally for Pakistan when they landed in Chennai. Once the Pakistani team landed in Chennai, she posted a tweet welcoming the Pakistani cricket players to Tamil Nadu. Many on social media pointed out how the same lady had previously posted against Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting Tamil Nadu with the hashtag #GoBackModi (partly peddled by Pakistan).

During the cricket World Cup, she prayed that Pakistan would win the match.

Earlier, during the Ahmedabad match, in which India won against Pakistan, a disappointed Dhivya wrote that the country lost to religious extremists and prayed that the Pakistani team win the World Cup this time.

She also went on a cringe fest expressing her love for Pakistan.

While the Congress lady went out of the way to prove her love for Pakistan, she had shown contempt for people of her own country (specifically people living in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh) by abusing them for their electoral choice.

The 2023 Karnataka Assembly Elections saw Congress emerge victorious with 135 seats pushing the BJP to a distant second with 65 seats.

As soon as the trend of Congress winning became clear, many of their leaders along with DMK were found calling for a separate “United States of South India”. Dhivya was among those who also pushed the separatist narrative.
