A 29-year-old man was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for allegedly sexually harassing an 11-year-old girl in Melapalayam, Tirunelveli, as reported in Dinamalar.
The accused, Mohammed Ibrahim, a real estate worker from Fatima Nagar in Melapalayam, allegedly harassed the girl while riding a two-wheeler in the area on Wednesday evening.

Following a complaint by the girl’s parents, police conducted an investigation and examined CCTV footage from the area, which reportedly confirmed the incident. Mohammed Ibrahim was subsequently arrested under the POCSO Act.
