The Metropolitan Police are investigating a reported racially aggravated assault that left three young men injured in what has been described as a “violent and unprovoked” attack at Harrow Recreation Ground on the evening of Friday, 30 May 2025.

According to a statement released by the police, officers were called to the park at approximately 18:11 PM following reports of a fight involving several individuals. Emergency responders from the London Ambulance Service also attended the scene, where three men—two aged 20 and one aged 21—were found with injuries.

Police confirmed that one of the victims, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital with a head injury. The two other men reportedly made their way to the hospital later that evening. Authorities have stated that none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening or life changing.

A family member of one of the victims told Harrow Online that the assault had been particularly brutal, alleging that two of the three young men were left unconscious during the incident. She said that all three had suffered serious injuries.

She further claimed that the suspects had questioned the victims about their ethnicity shortly before the violence began, which she believed made the incident a racially motivated attack. “We are urgently looking for anyone who may have seen something—even a small detail can help support the police investigation,” she said.

The victims, Hindu, were described as being attacked by a group of men believed to be in their mid-to-late 20s. According to the family, the suspects were described as tall, with light brown skin. One of the men allegedly had long hair and a beard.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the incident is being investigated as a racially aggravated assault and have appealed for witnesses. Authorities have asked anyone who may have information or relevant footage from the area around Harrow Recreation Ground at the time of the incident to come forward.

No arrests have been made so far. The investigation remains ongoing.
