“Their Agenda Is Genocide, They Want To Wipe Out Muslims, Tribals, Minorities”: Radical Woke Ultra-Leftist Prakash Raj Makes Baseless Claims About BJP-RSS, Abuses Judiciary

Radical woke ultra leftist actor Prakash Raj triggered sharp political reactions after making a series of incendiary remarks at an event organised by the Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) in Hyderabad. The event, titled “Longing for Justice”, was held on 17 December 2025.

Speaking to the audience, Prakash Raj alleged that what was unfolding in India amounted to a systematic plan aimed at genocide. He claimed that minorities were being deliberately targeted, stating, “Whatever is happening in this country is a preparation of a genocide. They want to wipe out Mussalman. They want to wipe out tribal people, minorities. That is their agenda.”

He asserted that constitutional safeguards and legal processes no longer mattered to those in power. According to him, “We may talk of rules, regulations, nothing matters to them. They don’t have a conscience.”

In an emotionally charged address, Prakash Raj also attacked India’s justice system, declaring that courts had failed citizens. He said that for decades, people believed the judiciary was independent, adding, “We were sure we will get justice in the court. We were sure that a court does not belong to a political party, does not belong to the ruling government, does not belong to a religious institution.” He then went on to say, “But sadly today I dare give this statement… Shame on you the courts of India. Because you are committing the biggest crime, killing justice.”

The actor argued that political opposition alone would not address what he described as an ideological threat. “You see it. No, you are fighting BJP. Don’t fight BJP. You have to fight the RSS,” he said, drawing comparisons with European fascist regimes. Referring to Hitler and Mussolini, he claimed they failed because they operated as political parties, while alleging that the RSS functioned differently and wielded deeper influence.

Using an analogy from the Panchatantra, Prakash Raj said the RSS was like a hidden force beneath a visible symbol. “You are fighting with the lotus. Fight with the strength which gives to that lotus which is deep down,” he said, adding that confronting judges or institutions alone would not work.

He further alleged that the RSS had no role in India’s freedom struggle, stating that there was “not even one name” associated with it and claiming that the organisation would “never hoist our Indian flag.”

Referring to a mass email he said he received from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Constitution Day, Prakash Raj accused the Prime Minister of hypocrisy. He described the message as “a letter full of lies,” and questioned references to Dr BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi, calling the Prime Minister “a liar.”

He also referred to the recent public event where the Prime Minister and the RSS chief were present and the Ram Mandir flag was being hoisted, alleging that the Prime Minister showed greater reverence to the Bhagwa flag than to the national flag. “I’m wondering does this man really have this reverence to our national flag. No, their agenda is different. Their agenda is genocide,” he said.

Continuing his remarks, Prakash Raj claimed that the Constitution itself was under threat. “Their agenda is to bring the Manusmriti. Their agenda is to change the Constitution because they are not comfortable with that. They want you, me, Umar, everyone to be secondary citizens,” he told the audience.

Issuing a warning to the public, he said, “Be aware, be careful. Today they are coming for the Muslims. Tomorrow they will come to you.” He urged people to keep raising their voices, calling the developments a “chronology” that could be clearly traced.

Citing past murders of rationalists and activists, he referred to the killings of Gauri Lankesh, Narendra Dabholkar, Govind Pansare and M M Kalburgi, alleging that despite arrests and evidence, the accused were later granted bail and publicly celebrated. He claimed that such incidents showed a pattern of impunity.

Concluding his speech, Prakash Raj alleged that the ultimate objective was to dismantle democratic institutions. “Their agenda is very clear — to kill the democracy, kill all systems,” he said, urging people not to be afraid and to continue speaking out. “If you can lie to us 100 times, let’s speak the truth thousand times,” he said.
