This announcement from the NCPCR Chairperson comes just 2 days after a complaint had been filed against Ravali Priya IPS, with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. The complaint sought disciplinary action against the IPS officer for allegedly trying to mislead the investigation of the minor Hindu girl’s suicide who was reportedly subjected to harassment and forced religious conversion. In her press meet, Ravali Priya had said that there was no evidence of forceful conversion of the Minor Hindu girl, even though the child had clearly stated the same in her video testimony. The complaint came after this press meet.
