Tevero becomes the first brand to launch masks with textile technology to protect from COVID

The world has been grappling with coronavirus over the past few months and it looks like it is here to stay for some time. Circumstances warrant that humans protect themselves in whatever way they can. In light of this fashion clothing are looking at ways to give a layer of protection to protect people from microbes and Tevero has collaborated with companies, vendors and labs across the word to come out with products along this line.

Tevero using the technology of Swiss textile innovation company HeiQ has launched fashion masks, gloves and clothing under an exclusive collection named Virus Shield.

Under laboratory settings, it showed that the activity of the SARS-CoV-2 is reduced by 99.99 percent in 30 minutes on the treated fabric submitted by them. This textile technology – HieQ Viroblock NPJ03 – is safe and non-toxic.

Tevero’s masks are composed of two layers of soft knitted cotton for excellent comfort and breathability. There is an anti-viral treatment done on both the layers, increasing protection for the wearer. In between the two layers, there is a filter composed of meltdown fabric that offers more than 99.5 percent bacterial filtration efficiency (> 3mm)

The company is the first to launch anti-viral mask in India, using a technology proven against the coronavirus.  Tevero is planning to tie up with Amazon and medical store for retail.
