Surat Court Rejects RaGa’s Plea To Stay His Conviction On Modi Surname Defamation Case

The Sessions Court in Surat, Gujarat rejected the plea of Rahul Gandhi seeking stay on his conviction im the Modi Surname defamation case.

Rahul Gandhi was disqualified after he was convicted to two years jail by a Surat court in the Modi surname defamation case which pertains to his Kolar speech of 2019 where he said “how come all the thieves have Modi as the common surname?”

This means he would continue to stand disqualified.
