During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Chennai on 9 April 2024, the crowd erupted in jubilation, chanting the slogan “Abki Baar Chaar Sow Paar.” However, the DMK’s mouthpiece Sun News channel peddled lies regarding the event. The channel claimed that the crowd chanted “Abki Baar Chocobar” instead of Abki Baar Chaar Sow Paar.

It is pretty clear in the video that the people were chanting Abki Baar 400 Paar and not as Sun News had claimed.

After netizens pointed out the lies, the channel handle silently deleted the video and let DMK supporters spread the fake news.

Earlier, the same handle shared pictures of the roadshow from the afternoon and passed it off as a poor show up of people for Prime Minister Modi’s roadshow. This was also debunked by netizens who attended the roadshow.

Modi was accompanied by Coimbatore LS candidate and TN BJP chief Annamalai and the 3 Chennai constituency candidates – Paul Kanakaraj, Vinoj Selvam, and Tamizhisai Soundararajan.
