Sivanadiars protest against VCK chief Thirumavalavan for abusing Hindu religion

Sivanadiyars who are ardent worshippers of Lord Siva staged a protest in Tiruppur condemning Thirumavalavan for slandering Hindus and Hindu religion.

A few days ago, VCK chief Thirumavalavan who is also a Member of Parliament from Chidambaram, made derogatory remarks about Hinduism once again.

This has been condemned by various Hindus organizations. Meanwhile, a congregation of Sivanadiyars staged a protest in front of the Srivisweswara Swamy Temple in Tirupur, condemning Thirumavalavan for his objectionable remarks. They also chanted Thevaram, Thiruvasakam and Sivapuranam. They then lodged a complaint against Thirumavalavan with the Tirupur Police Commissioner.

“Thirumavalavan should stop abusing Hindu religion and refrain from spreading canards about Hindu worship. We have prayed chanting the Thirumurais so that Lord Siva drives some sense into Thirumavalavan”, one of the Sivanadiyars said.
