School in Bengaluru serves ultimatum to parents to pay fees

A school representative in Bengaluru has demanded the parents to pay the fees of their children in the stipulated time if they want their children to continue the enrolment.

Parents of the students studying in the Vibgyor School located in Horamavu in Bengaluru have got the ultimatum to pay the fees of their children in the given time period.

The school authorities have sent a circular to the student’s parents that clearly threatens them to pay the fees stating that not doing so would result in the enrolment of their children in the school be discontinued.

In this relation, the school authorities have denied taking any action related to the fees and said that this matter will be sorted by the private discussion of the school management and the student’s parents. It is still not clear whether the school has approved any concession to the parents who are not in the state to pay their children’s fees.

It is to be noted that the state government had asked the school not to hike the fees of the students this year. The government had also said that schools are to collect fees only from willing parents and arrangements be made for those families affected economically due to the corona virus and lockdown.
