Sexual harassment complaints against government schoolteachers seems to be unabating in Dravidian Model Tamil Nadu.
In yet another instance, this time from Salem, a government school teacher was reportedly sexually harassing girl students in the school.
As reported in Chanakyaa, Balasubramani (48), a mathematics teacher at Kaveripatty Panchayat Union Middle School near Sankagiri in Salem district, has been suspended. More than 20 girl students complained that he sexually harassed them.
District Educational Officer Thangarasu took action following the students’ complaints and ordered the suspension. The incident occurred at the government middle school where Balasubramani was working.
