Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s labour wing said on Thursday that it would launch a protest against the privatization of public sector enterprises by the Union government.
The decision was taken at the national coordination committee for public sector of the BMS with representatives from workers’ union of different public sector companies across sectors like coal, insurance, railways, postal, banking, telecom, steel, power, etc.
The protest under the banner “Save Public Sector, Save India” would be held on June 10 by BMS in different public sector undertakings across the country.
The agitation would include protest meetings, day-long dharnas, and campaigns at the unit level.
‘The BMS is committed to fight until it stops the government from taking the anti-public sector and anti-worker decisions”, the statement issued by BMS said.
