Telugu cinema’s global icon, Ram Charan, has embarked on a significant milestone in his career by launching his production company, V Mega Pictures, in collaboration with his friend Vikram Reddy from UV Creations. Their inaugural project, titled The India House, has been unveiled in partnership with Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, The India House serves as Ram Charan’s maiden production venture and stars Nikhil Siddhartha as Shiva and Anupam Kher as Shyamji Krishna Varma. The announcement was made on the occasion of freedom fighter Veer Sarvakar’s birthday, accompanied by a compelling video released across the social media accounts of Ram Charan, V Mega Pictures, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
Set in London during the pre-independence era of 1905, The India House promises to transport the audience back in time, immersing them in a heartfelt narrative. The teaser alludes to a love story unfolding amidst political unrest surrounding The India House, culminating in striking visuals of a blazing India House, hinting at the forthcoming drama.
The production team has revealed their intention to release the film in major Indian languages as well as select foreign languages, with cinematography duties entrusted to Cameron Bryson. Further details regarding the remaining cast and crew will be provided in due course.
