Pragya Thakur calls for spiritual effort to fight COVID19, asks people to recite Hanuman Chalisa till Aug 5

Member of Parliament (Bhopal) and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pragya Thakur asks people to recite the Hanuman Chalisa five times to fight COVID-19.

According to her, people must make a spiritual effort by reciting the Hanuman Chalisa five times every day till August 5, 2020. It is said that the ceremony of construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will take place on the same day.

“Let us all come together and make a spiritual effort to wish people good health and end the coronavirus epidemic. Recite ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ five times a day at your home from July 25 to August 5,” she tweeted.

She urged people to end the day by lighting lamps and performing aarti to Lord Ram in their homes.

In a video, she said that the government in Madhya Pradesh is aiming to contain the spread of the virus by imposing a lockdown till August 4, 2020 in Bhopal.

“Though the lockdown will be over on August 4, the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa will end on August 5, when ‘bhoomi poojan’ for Ram temple in Ayodhya will be performed,” she added.
