“PM Modi Will Serve The Country & Hindu Dharma For A Long Time”, Says Mannargudi Jeeyar On Modi Re-election

In a recent press conference, Mannargudi Jeeyar asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, dedicated to Hindu dharma will serve beyond his current term, aiming to continue his leadership for the welfare of the nation.

In a significant event marking the inauguration of a Kanchipuram-based private textile shop near Salem New Bus Stand, Mannargudi Sri Chendalankara Sampath Kumara Ramanuja Jeeyar graced the occasion, cut the ribbon and lit the ceremonial lamp. Subsequently, he explored the collection of Kanchipuram Silks silk sarees in the store.

Addressing the media later, Mannargudi Sri Ramanuja Jeeyar highlighted concerns regarding the control of Hindu temples by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) department in Tamil Nadu, contrasting it with the autonomy enjoyed by Islamic and Christian institutions. He criticized the DMK government for allegedly undermining Hindu interests, despite advocating equality for all religions. He emphasized the need for Hindu temples to be liberated from government control, especially if other religious institutions remain independent.

Ramanuja Jeeyar stated, “If any government has the courage and strength, it should bring restrictions to people of other religions. What do we say ‘we are common to all’ when we say that everyone is one without any kind of caste or religious discrimination, It is a shame to the government that cannot bring (regulation) to a Christian church or a mosque but keeps (regulates) only in Hindu religion. If you have courage you should bring that to church and mosque else everything else should be removed is my opinion.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the management of temple funds and rituals, the Jeeyar denounced the alleged corruption within the HR&CE department. He praised Narendra Modi’s commitment to Hindu dharma and endorsed his continuation as Prime Minister beyond his current term. Furthermore, the Jeeyar accused the DMK government of anti-Hindu activities and criticized their opportunistic temple visits during elections while purportedly working against Hindu interests.
