PLA soldiers write goodbye letters to spouses amidst fear of war

A report by the Taiwan News mentioned that, China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) had asked its soldiers to write a goodbye letter to their spouses if war was to break out the next day.

Such actions are initiated when a country prepares for war and by asking its soldiers to write letters, there is fear that China was planning to attack Taiwan.

Others told the “organization” not to worry, the “motherland” not to worry, and the people not to worry, because they would “return in glory,” according to a PLA video.

Even as the world is trying to find a cure to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, Chinese fighter jets and warships are getting close and have frequently approached Taiwan, crossing into the island nation’s Air Defense Identification Zone.

As per reports, China is facing its worst floods in decades and the communist regime might try to provoke a confrontation to distract people from its own failings.
