In a video that has been going viral on Twitter, Sam Pitroda, former advisor of former PM, Rajiv Gandhi and the chief of the Indian Overseas Congress has made some alarming statements.
"People who go to temples are undemocratic : Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda"

In the video which seems to be a portion of a longer interaction, Sam Pitroda explains that there are 2 types of NRIs.
One group he says, builds temples, believes in God, believes in the BJP and the RSS. He says that no one can change them. He also mentions that this group of NRIs constitutes only 30% but is very vocal and visible. He claims that this group put in extra time, money, and effort to get the point across.
He continues by saying that there is another group, the remaining 70% of people who believe in democracy, freedom. human rights, justice, equality, and diversity and these are professionals, academicians, scientists, engineers, and businessmen who are busy and they are not temple-going mostly.
It is noteworthy that it was Sam Pitroda that helped arrange the meetings that Rahul Gandhi attended during his US tour. In this tweet, we can see Sunita Vishwanath associated with Muslim Jihadi organizations and was the one behind the Dismantling Hindutva Conference.
Just wow!! Sunita Vishwanath, a Soros proxy, who works for one of the most anti-India orgs in the US that co-hosts events with radical orgs like ICNA and CAIR is part of @RahulGandhi’s inner circle.

In his recent speech in New York during Rahul Gandhi’s US tour, Sam Pitroda stated that while India faces unemployment and high inflation, the focus remains on temples, which he believes won’t create jobs. Pitroda insisted that issues such as unemployment, inflation, education, and health need attention.

Rahul could have stopped him, but didn't.
Why does the Congress hate Shree Ram, Hanuman and the Hindus that they don't leave a single opportunity to run them down?! pic.twitter.com/DJb7fExNN6

During an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai, when questioned about Rahul Gandhi’s controversial remarks about India on foreign soil, Sam Pitroda defended Rahul Gandhi’s right to express his opinions and questioned the notion that one cannot criticize their own country while abroad.
He dismissed the demand for Gandhi to apologize, stating that Gandhi had not said anything that warranted an apology in a democracy. Pitroda denied allegations that Gandhi sought foreign intervention in India’s affairs, emphasizing that India’s democracy is a global concern.
