A Christian pastor in Tirupur who sexually harassed a minor girl has been arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Samuel (36) is a pastor hailing from Veerapandi near Tirupur. He had sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl who came to pray. The girl’s relatives lodged a complaint with the Tirupur South All Women Police. The pastor was interrogated by women police and arrested and jailed under the ‘POCSO’ Act.
