Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s corrupt coterie: Advisors with dual citizenship, assets worth millions of dollars
When former Pakistani cricket captain Imran Khan became Prime Minister in 2018 with the support of the military, he had promised to launch an austerity drive that will end Pakistan’s poorly run financial problem.
However, in an embarrassing, if not startling revelation it has been discovered that most of the special assistants of Imran Khan, have dual citizenship and they have not revealed there financial details and assets, WION reported.
The announcement was made by public by Shibli Faraz, the Information & Broadcasting Minister of Pakistan through a tweet.
Six senior advisors to the Pakistan PM have dual citizenships and own movable and immovable assets worth millions of dollars abroad.
During his quest for seeking the office of the Prime Minister, Imran Khan, was very clear that he only wants those to be part of his government who do not own duel passports.
PM Imran Khan's 7 out of 15 special assistants/advisors have either a dual nationality, PR or a green card.
