A few days ago, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin appealed to the public, social organizations and businesses to donate to the Chief Minister’s COVID Relief Fund.
According to the reports, all donations made during the pandemic will be used to set up oxygen production and storage facilities, and to purchase vaccines and medical equipment. It was stated that the details of the donation and the expenditure incurred from this fund will all be made public.
As a result, businessmen, political parties, social organizations, the public and the film industry are donating to the Chief Minister’s COVID Relief Fund.
In this context, Thangathurai, who is working as a temporary night guard in a private company, has donated his entire monthly salary of ₹10,101 to the Chief Minister’s Corona Relief Fund.
Thangathurai from Mayiladuthurai is currently staying and working in Saligramam, Chennai. He wanted to meet MK Stalin in person and handover the money but couldn’t due to work and curfew. After getting to know this information, MK Stalin thanked Thangathurai for providing the funds and gifted him a book.
