With the counting of votes underway for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a few interesting trends have emerged in Tamil Nadu.
While the DMK is clearly having the edge and leading in a majority of the seats, the BJP-led NDA is emerging as the underdog in around 10 seats.
PMK’s Sowmiya Anbumani is leading in Dharmapuri with a margin of 16218 as of 11 AM.
The saffron party-led NDA is emerging second in Theni, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, South Chennai, Central Chennai, Vellore, Nilgiris, Coimbatore. The BJP is emerging second in the union territory of Puducherry as well.

Seeman-led Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) is emerging third in 8 seats namely – Puducherry, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Nagapattinam, Sivaganga, Sriperumbudur.
