Mohan G. Kshatriyan Announces Sequel To Draupathi Which Will Explore Untold History Of Hoysala Dynasty

Renowned Tamil director Mohan G. Kshatriyan has officially announced his next project after a brief hiatus. Following the success of Draupathi in 2020, which captivated audiences with its gripping storyline, the highly anticipated sequel, Draupathi 2, is set to return. This time, the film will delve deeper into the untold, blood-soaked history of the 14th-century Hoysalas, promising to once again immerse viewers in its action-packed drama and high-stakes narrative.

Announcing the project on social media, Mohan G. Kshatriyan posted, “By His divine grace and with reverence to His feet, we shall witness the concealed valorous and heroic blood-soaked history of those gallant warriors who sacrificed their lives for Dharma, treating them as mere trifles. Before this year concludes, she returns to terrify on the silver screen once more – #Draupathi2.”

Draupathi 2 aims to shed light on the darker, lesser-known aspects of the Hoysala dynasty, weaving a thrilling tale that blends historical facts with fictional elements. The film’s storyline teases an epic narrative that will captivate fans, delivering a powerful cinematic experience. Richard Rishi will reprise his role from the first film, with additional cast members expected to be revealed soon.
