A 13-year-old boy was found in an intoxicated condition in Singampunari in Sivaganga district, triggering shock among local residents.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Singampunari area, where more than ten TASMAC liquor outlets are said to be operating. The minor was seen staggering on the road in a drunken state, unable to keep his eyes open, drawing the attention of passersby.
Police who arrived at the spot questioned the boy about his condition. During the interaction, the minor reportedly broke down and cried while still intoxicated, stating that he did not have parents.
