A 17 year old boy from Alambadi village of Vizhupuram district has been arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for raping a minor girl. The boy and the minor girl were said to be friends belonging to the same village.
However, the parents of the girl were terrified to find her pregnant a few days back and filed a complaint at the local police station.
Upon investigation it was found that the boy had raped the girl. The 17 year old boy was arrested by the police under POCSO act for committing sexual offences against a minor. He has been admitted in the Vizhupuram juvenile home .
