Muthu of Alanganallur near Madurai was arrested after four months in a murder case where he had beheaded his own friend. Muthu’s wife and Muthuvelu were allegedly in an extra-marital affair.
Coming to know of it, Muthu and his friend Nagaraj had taken Muthuvelu for having drinks and later beheaded him four months ago. Nagaraju had carried the severed head of Muthuvelu and surrendered at the police station.
Muthu had by then escaped to Kerala.
Muthu had been hiding at his relative’s place in his native since the lockdown and was arrested by the police.
