After Police in Assam in the last few days arrested several people for peddling drugs, now a narco terror network in Kerala was busted by the police when they arrested, Faisal, Anas, and Varsha were arrested with 100 kg cannabis from Kochi.
According to the details released by the police, the suspects would purchase cannabis for Rs 200-300 from Andhra Pradesh and sell the same in Kerala for Rs 20,000-30,000. The police also confiscated two cars in which were being used to smuggle and transport cannabis.
In yet another in Kerala, 190 Kg of Cannabis and 300g Hashish oil worth Rs 65 Lakh were seized from Palakkad district and again two drug peddlers belonging to a minority community Abdul Salim and Shibu were arrested by the police in connection with this.

It is a known modus operandi that Islamic jihadists use the proceeds from the sale of drugs and use the money for planning and executing acts of terrorism.
Recently, a powerful bishop of the Syro Malabar Church asked his people to be careful about ‘Narcotic Jihad’, which according to him is a systematic plan to ruin the lives of non-Muslims.
The drug trade is highly lucrative and now drug peddlers have also started taking in non-Muslims as their drug carriers to evade the Muslim angle to the narcotic trade.
