An Islamist man who disrupted Holy Mass at a church in Karuvarakundu, (reportedly Malappuram) Kerala, and insisted on speaking to the priest while the service was underway was restrained by church trustees and handed over to the police, according to an account shared by Shalom News.
“Demography is destiny.”
We used to see reports of churches being stormed, Holy Mass disrupted, and priests attacked in parts of Europe. Now, Keralam is witnessing similar scenes by jihadists ( mental disorder) . Let that sink in. 🙏 https://t.co/wGAVVJxKpv

In a video interview, a church trustee recounted how the incident unfolded, stating that the man entered the church after Mass had begun and approached the priest, demanding to speak to him immediately.
According to the trustee, both church trustees stood up and approached the man to find out what he wanted. They informed him that the Mass was in progress and asked him to wait around ten minutes, assuring him that his question could be addressed afterward.
However, the man allegedly insisted on speaking to the priest immediately. The trustees explained that the matter did not need to be addressed at once and that there would be an opportunity to speak to the priest later.
As the discussion continued, another person joined the trustees to help escort the man out of the church. The trustee said the man became agitated and turned violent when they attempted to lead him outside.
The trustees then physically restrained him and contacted the police. According to the account, police personnel arrived within five minutes, after which the man was handed over to them.
Police Made Inquiries Into the Man’s Background
The trustee said that the church representatives subsequently went to the police station to enquire about the man’s details. They were informed that he had previously been admitted to a mental health centre.
The trustee added that a sub-inspector contacted the man’s family members, the local ward member, the panchayat president and other individuals to make further inquiries. The police also contacted the local sub-inspector as part of the process.
According to the trustee, the authorities indicated that similar incidents involving the man had occurred previously. The trustee said the church representatives had no objection to the police making the necessary inquiries.
