Indian embassy in Kathmandu hosts interaction with Sonam Wangchuk and author Kanak Mani Dixit

The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on Sunday organised a public event and interaction with noted innovator-engineer Sonam Wangchuk and renowned  Kathmandu-based author Kanak Mani Dixit. The event was held on the theme of sustainability in the Himalayas.

Wangchuk is known for his incredible work in Ladakh, which has been termed a game-changer and an inspiration for social innovations in the Indian subcontinent. Dixit is a prominent author based in Kathmandu.

The discussion was also on the key lessons that can be learned from Wangchuk’s experiences in the Ladakh region as India turns 75.

“The conversation focussed on education, innovation and sustainability in the Himalayas”, a press release from the Embassy of India in Kathmandu stated.
