On June 30, Afghanistan Ambassador to India Farid Mamundzay shared his experience about his visit to an Indian doctor on Twitter.
He said that he had gone to a doctor a few days back for treatment and the doctor upon knowing that he was the Afghanistan Ambassador refused to accept any payment. When asked for the reason, the doctor had told him that it was the least he could do for Afghanistan and that he would not charge his own brother.
An emotional Farid Mamundzay said that he had no words to express his gratitude towards the doctor.
“This is India; Love, respect, values and compassion. Because of you my friend, Afghans cry a little less, smile a little more and feel great.”, the Ambassador had tweeted.

https://t.co/gnoWKI5iOh
